Sure, it made for cute photos but almost all of our wedding plans changed on a dime.
And while that might have been where our “official” story started, it certainly wasn’t the only thing that pushed us toward the wedding world.

University of Alabama alums, and college sweethearts, we took off to the Big Apple post-college to start our careers. Which is where we got married and that hurricane came into play…
We tied the knot in 2011 on the day that Hurricane Irene hit New York City. More than 10 years later, we are back in the south, running our businesses, BUSTLD and LoveStream.

Before joining the world of weddings, Ryan cut his teeth in enterprise sales in the tech space and Samie learned from the best of the best at a luxury PR firm executing high-end events.
We made the jump to the world of weddings when we launched a luxury wedding planning company in our local market. While growing the business, we saw an opportunity to modernize the wedding planning process.
We built an all-encompassing digital platform that connected couples and vendors via a matching algorithm. This digital wedding planner was the first step in making wedding planning accessible.
The next step came mid-pandemic. We wanted to find a way to help couples still celebrate and launched LoveStream, the only live stream platform built for special events. We combined cutting-edge tech with the human element of planning to execute reliable, high-quality live streams anywhere. We have streamed thousands of weddings to viewers across 180+ countries since launch.
